Of particular note are:

  • IET Power Electronics, which has achieved its highest ever rating of 3.547 and is in the top quartile for the Engineering, Electrical and Electronic category;
  • Journals IET Optoelectronics, IET Circuits, Devices & Systems and IET Biometrics, which have seen ratings grow by more than 80%;

Speaking of the announcement, Vincent Cassidy, Head of Academic Markets said: “The IET has made significant investment in its journal portfolio over the last 24 months, and we are pleased to now see the benefits of this effort. However, none of this success would be achievable without our readers, authors, reviewers, partners and editorial boards who we would like to thank for their ongoing support.”

Jeremy Watson CBE, President of the IET also commented: “As a Learned Society, the IET strives to deliver the knowledge our readers wish to access by creating the quality publications researchers want to publish in. We are proud that our work has delivered tangible results that underpin our commitment to the academic community. We look forward to continuing the good work and providing a high level of service that demonstrates the IET truly is a Learned Society fit for the 21st century.”
