Dods People draws together a list of appointments in Westminster politics, the devolved administrations and the public affairs sector in the last week.


Parties:

Liberal Democrats

Rosy Cobb suspended as Head of Media.

 

Devolved Authorities:

Scottish Government

Laura Paton has been appointed the new HM Chief Inspector of Prosecution in Scotland, replacing Michelle McLeod.

Welsh Government

Hybu Cig Cymru – Kevin Roberts reappointed as Chair.

 

Local Authorities:

Wakefield Council - Denise Jeffrey replaced Peter Box as Leader of the Council on 1st December.

Torridge District Council – Anna Dart stood down as Leader of the Council.

Sheffield City Council - Charlie Adan recommended as the Interim Chief Executive.

By-election Result 5th December

Rhondda Cynon Taf Council - Julie Edwards elected for Ynyshir - Labour gain (caused by the resignation of Plaid Cymru councillor Darren Macey).

National Housing Federation - Rhys Moore has been appointed as Executive Director of Public Impact.

Metro Bank - Craig Donaldson to stand down as Chief Executive at the end of December.
