The Royal Osteoporosis Society outlines their work with the the All-Party Parliamentary Osteoporosis Group (APPOG).
The All-Party Parliamentary Osteoporosis Group (APPOG) is an informal group made up of MPs and Peers (Lords) from across the political spectrum with an interest in osteoporosis. The purpose of the group is to inform the House of Commons and House of Lords about osteoporosis.
APPOG is Co-Chaired by Gordon Marsden (Labour MP for Blackpool South, and Shadow Minister for Education) and Baroness Cumberlege CBE DL (Conservative peer and former health minister).
Secretariat is provided by the Royal Osteoporosis Society.
