Some of the biggest airports are still the worst offenders for service for the disabled - Scope

Responding to Baroness Sugg & Sarah Newton MP, Scope said the Government must work with the travel and transport industry to ensure disabled people can have access to the same level of service as everyone else.
James Taylor, Head of Policy, Public Affairs and Campaigns:
“It’s good to see progress on this issue, but disappointing that the CAA’s report shows some of the biggest airports are still the worst offenders.
“Disabled people say they continue to receive an inferior service to other passengers or have equipment damaged.
“It’s vital that the CAA continue working with airports to bring those lagging behind up to scratch as soon as possible, and that Government work with the travel and transport industry to ensure disabled people can have access to the same level of service as everyone else.”
