Technical expertise is important, but we can’t overlook the employer demand for communication and management skills being embedded alongside digital, English and maths skills.

The ambition of today’s Further Education (FE) White Paper is a good first step but itl acks necessary detail.

Technical expertise is important, but we can’t overlook the employer demand for communication and management skills being embedded alongside digital, English and maths skills.

These multi-functional skills will be a productivity differentiator and ensure that Government investment in areas like Research and Development and infrastructure is delivered successfully in order to reap the dividends.
