Comedian Carl Donnelly announced as IPSE 2019 Freelancer Awards host
IPSE, the Association of Independent Professionals and the Self-Employed, has announced that comedian Carl Donnelly will host its Freelancer of the Year Awards on Thursday 13th June 2019.
With TV credits including Mock the Week, Russell Howard’s Good News and Stand Up Central, Donnelly is a stalwart of the UK stand-up circuit and has been described as an ‘observational genius’ by the Guardian.
IPSE’s Freelancer of the Year Awards are designed to celebrate not only the best and brightest freelancers from across the UK, but also the people and businesses that support them. The categories are Co-working Space of the Year, Ambassador of the Year, University Partner of the Year, New to Freelancing, Young Freelancer of the Year, Freelancer of the Year and – a new category for 2019 – Best Freelance Project.
The prizes are:
- Freelancer of the Year – £5,000 for the winner, £2,000 for the runner-up.
- Young Freelancer of the Year – £3,000.
- New to Freelancing – £3,000.
- Freelance Project of the Year – £1,500.
