The Energy Saving Trust is delighted to announce the 11 winners for the 2015 Fleet Hero Awards.

The Fleet Hero Awards is one of the key fleet events in the UK and celebrated its 10th anniversary last night. The awards showcase organisations, suppliers and manufacturers that have successfully reduced fuel bills and lowered emissions and carbon footprint through better transport policies and improved fleet efficiency.

The winners were presented yesterday evening at the London Transport Museum by BBC Watchdog motoring reporter Ginny Buckley. Transport Minister Andrew Jones MP also attended the ceremony and spoke to an audience of notable business leaders and government stakeholders.

Philip Sellwood, Chief Executive of the Energy Saving Trust, said:

“Working with fleets to save energy brings a wide range of positive impacts – not only significant cost and carbon emission reductions but also safety benefits and air quality improvement. Our Fleet Heroes are pioneering the use of new technology, from telematics to ultra-low emission vehicles, to bring change at scale. The awards independently validate their achievements, and recognise the years of determined effort they have made to bring change.”
