The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) will be at the BSAVA Scottish Congress next month and will be offering one-to-one surgeries with a Practice Standards Scheme Inspector.

Niall Connell, a member of both RCVS and VN Councils, and Lizzie Lockett, RCVS Director of Communications, will be at the RCVS stand (number 18) to answer any queries during the Congress, which takes place at the Edinburgh Conference Centre at Heriot-Watt from 30 to 31 August 2014.

The RCVS will also be running a series of free 45-minute Practice Standards Scheme (PSS) surgeries with Inspector Stuart Renton on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 August. The surgeries provide a useful opportunity to receive advice and guidance about the PSS, to have queries answered and to find out more about the Scheme in general.

Both practices already in the Scheme and those considering joining are welcome, and should contact Fiona Harcourt, Communications Officer, on f.harcourt@rcvs.org.uk or 020 7202 0773 – allocation is on a first-come, first-served basis.
