Christine Middlemiss has been appointed as the new UK chief Veterinary Officer (CVO), taking over from Nigel Gibbens who is stepping down at the end of February 2018 after 10 years in the position.

NOAH Chief Executive Dawn Howard said: “NOAH welcomes Christine to her new role. We look forward to working with her in the future, particularly as we are negotiating the UK’s exit from the EU, to ensure the availability of animal medicines to secure the health and welfare of UK animals in the future”.
