Slimming World | Slimming World

Responding to an article written by former Health Minister Paul Burstow on how the UK can look to tackle its obesity problem, Slimming World recognises how difficult it can be for people to raise the issue of overweight and obesity.

As a solution to this, Slimming World is advocating the creation of a national standard for the training of health and education professionals, to develop the skills needed to compassionately and sensitively raise an individual’s awareness to the dangers of being overweight and support them to seek appropriate help to make meaningful changes.
