Local authority by-elections held Thursday 27th February 2014:

West Lindsey District Council –Scotter: Conservative hold

Mewis, Patricia – Conservative – 577 – elected (66%)
Panter, Keith – Liberal Democrats – 301 (34%)

Votes:878 *number does not include spoilt ballots.
Turnout:22.8%
Majority:276

By-election held following the death of Conservative councillor William Parry.

Political compositions of local authorities concerned:

West Lindsey District Council – Conservatives 21, Liberal Democrats 10, Independent 4, Labour 2 – Conservative controlled.
