Unique vet film to premiere at BVA Members’ Day
Today the British Veterinary Association (BVA) and ITN Productions release a 2-minute preview of Veterinary View, a first-of-its-kind programme celebrating vets and the veterinary profession that will premiere in full at BVAs annual Members Day in Edinburgh on Thursday (24 September).
Veterinary View, a partnership between BVA and ITN Productions, focuses on the trends and innovations that will shape the veterinary profession’s future. The programme includes a series of short online films, introduced by national newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky, which highlight a wide range of issues including veterinary surveillance, preventive healthcare and veterinary wellbeing as well as a studio debate on veterinary education and the future of the profession. The programme also features sponsored content on graduate programmes, 24/7 care, pet obesity, innovation in oncology and more from a number of veterinary organisations and companies.

“Veterinary View not only examines the fantastic work of the veterinary profession but complements our joint project with RCVS, Vet Futures, in exploring how the profession can best shape its own future. We hope it will generate debate among vets, and the wider community in which we work, about both the big challenges and opportunities that the veterinary profession is facing.”
