A new research report from Tinder Foundation released today takes a look at how digital skills and community support could add value to the lives of the 6.5 million unpaid carers in the UK.

The report, produced by Tinder Foundation in partnership with Family Fund, Carers UK and Carers Trust, outlines 6 findings around the health and wellbeing of carers, from research conducted in specialist UK online centres and other carers’ support organisations earlier this year.

Caring can have a huge impact on a person’s health and wellbeing, with 29% of carers saying they have little time to focus on their own health. This report provides key recommendations to develop stronger support for carers - both through digital means and through greater support and advocacy from key national and local organisations.
