Jeremy Corbyn praises Stormzy over call for Grenfell action to Theresa May at Brit awards

Jeremy Corbyn has praised grime artist Stormzy after he slammed Theresa May over 'money for Grenfell' in a performance at last night’s Brit Awards.
The star won both of the awards he was nominated for before closing the show with a politically-charged performance.
The London-born artist name-checked the Prime Minister over the Grenfell Tower fire which claimed the lives of 71 people last June.
He was heard rapping: "Yo Theresa May, where's the money for Grenfell?
"What, you thought we just forgot about Grenfell? You criminals, and you've got the cheek to call us savages, you should do some jail time, you should pay some damages, you should burn your house down and see if you can manage this."
Jeremy Corbyn congratulated Stormzy, who has been a vocal critic of the Government’s reaction to the disaster since last year, following his performance.
The lyrics prompted Mr Corbyn to acknowledge the message of the performance, ending the tweet with, “#Grenfell”.
Labour MP David Lammy also offered his congratulations to the grime star, who has given his backing to Mr Corbyn in the past and appeared alongside him at last year's GQ Awards.
