'Simples!' Theresa May channels Aleksandr the Meerkat from insurance ads in Brexit spat

Theresa May today channelled Aleksandr the Meerkat as she told MPs ending the uncertainty over Brexit was “simples”.
The Prime Minister quoted the character from the Compare the Market adverts as she took SNP Westminster leader Ian Blackford to task in the Commons.
He accused her of adding to the uncertainty for EU nationals living in the UK and businesses after she announced MPs will vote on whether Brexit could be delayed.
But she shot back: “If he wants to end the uncertainty and deal with the issues he raised in his response to my statement then he should vote for a deal. Simples.”
