Francis Elliott is the new editor of The House magazine

Francis Elliott is today announced as the new Editor of The House magazine.
The former Political Editor of The Times brings over 20 years’ experience reporting on UK politics to the influential magazine.
A Westminster institution, The House is written both for and by MPs and Peers. Overseen by a cross-party advisory board, it has become renowned for its impartiality and high-quality journalism. It was a finalist in the 2022 British Journalism Awards.
Elliott first entered the Lobby in 1998, and worked at Scotland on Sunday, Sunday Telegraph, Independent on Sunday (political journalist of the year 2006) before joining The Times in 2007, where he wrote for 13 years, latterly as the newspaper’s Political Editor.
He is the co-author of the political biography Cameron: Practically a Conservative, and comes to The House following three years as Director of Advocacy at Engage Britain.
