Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk 2018

Alzheimer’s Society

1 min read Partner content

Alzheimer’s Society is calling on family, friends and colleagues to unite against dementia this autumn by joining a Memory Walk.

Dementia devastates lives, but every pound raised through Memory Walk will help Alzheimer’s Society provide vital information and support, improve care, fund research and create lasting change for people affected by the condition.

This year, Memory Walk is set to bring together over 100,000 walkers to raise over £9million with 41 walks taking place in September and October across England, Wales and Northern Ireland – including four night walks in London, Liverpool, Brighton and Tyneside. You can even organise your own walk – “Your Walk, Your Way” – with a group.

Supporting the campaign is award-winning Line of Duty star Vicky McClure, who will be taking part in her eighth successive Memory Walk in her hometown of Nottingham on Saturday, September 8 – other celebrities taking part in Memory Walks include Linda Robson, Emma Barton, Nicole Barber Lane and Ben Lamb.

Unite against dementia and register now at memorywalk.org.uk to find a walk near you.
