Carers Trust

Moira Fraser, Interim Chief Executive, Carers Trust, said:

“More needs to be done to support all unpaid carers. The Care Act, for the first time, puts carers on an equal footing to the people they care for. However, without additional funding for social care, carers will still not receive the necessary support. We need all political parties to grasp the nettle and commit to more funding for social care. We call on every candidate not to forget about carers in 2015.”
