The charity Mind comments on today'sPMQs saying 'it shows how far we have come' in discussing mental health issues.

Vicki Nash, Head of Policy and Campaigns at Mind, said: “It is fantastic to see mental health getting such attention in this week’s PMQs. It shows how far we have come that the issues are being discussed at such a high level. Sadly the issues raised are the reality for many people with mental health problems today. Too many of us aren’t getting the help we need, when we need it, sometimes with catastrophic consequences. We need to see urgent investment in NHS mental health services to address the barriers that people with mental health problems face in getting the care and support they need.”
