The Go-Ahead Group is pleased to learn its joint venture partnership with Keolis (Go-Ahead 49% / Keolis 51%) has been shortlisted to operate London Overground under a concession by Transport for London (TfL).

Go-Ahead and Keolis have a history of successful joint ventures and together operate UK rail companies: GTR, London Midland and Southeastern.

Go-Ahead, through its subsidiary Go-Ahead London, has strong experience operating contracts for TfL and currently has around 24% market share of London Bus routes.

Go-Ahead chief executive, David Brown, said:

"We welcome today’s announcement and look forward to working with Keolis on our bid to operate the popular London Overground services which have quickly become an important part of the capital’s transport network.”
