The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) has organised a webinar explaining the benefits of lifelong learning for veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses through engaging in continuing professional development (CPD).

The webinar, which takes place at 1pm on Tuesday 21 April and is hosted by the Webinar Vet, will be presented by Kit Sturgess, a member of RCVS Council and the Education Committee, and registered veterinary nurse Liz Cox, a Vice-Chair of VN Council.

During the webinar the presenters will not only explain the importance of CPD for everyday practice but will also discuss different types and methods of learning, what constitutes CPD and how best to keep a record of your professional development. Following the presentation there will be an opportunity to ask Kit and Liz questions about the topic.

Veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses who wish to listen to the webinar, which can itself constitute CPD, can register at www.thewebinarvet.com/rcvs-april.

For those who are unable to listen live, a recording of the webinar will be made available shortly after on www.rcvs.org.uk/webinars
