East Cambridgeshire District Council – Sutton: Liberal Democrat gain from Conservative

Dupre, Lorna – Liberal Democrats – 523 (50.9%) – **elected**
Hitchin, Neil – Conservative – 280 (27.23%)
Divine, Daniel – UKIP – 162 (15.75%)
Frances, Jane – Labour – 63 (6.12%)

Votes: 1, 028*
Turnout: 33.1%
Majority: 243

By-election held following the resignation of Conservative councillor Peter Moakes.

East Lindsey District Council – Horncastle: Conservative hold

Avison, Richard – Conservative – 432 (38.43%) – **elected**
Beecham, Michael – UKIP – 339 (30.16%)
Roark, David – Independent – 353 (31.5%)

Votes: 1, 124*
Turnout: 20.82%
Majority: 93

By-election held following the death of Conservative councillor Steve Newton.

North Kesteven District Council – Osbournby: Conservative gain from Independent

Cook, Kate – Conservative – 312 (49.68%) – **elected**
Cooper, Fay – Lincolnshire Independents – 269 (42.83%)
Greetham, Robert – Labour – 38 (6.1%)
Richardson, George – Liberal Democrat – 9 (1.43%)

Votes: 628*
Turnout: 33.8%
Majority: 43

By-election held following the death of Independent councillor Jim Cook.

Caerphilly County Borough Council – Blackwood: Labour hold

Rees, Allan – Welsh Labour – 620 (40.95%) – **elected**
Smallman, Keith – Independent – 477 (31.5%)
Farina-Childs, Andrew – Plaid Cymru – 349 (23.1%)
Muir-Jones, Cameron – Welsh Conservative – 68 (4.49%)

Votes: 1, 514*
Turnout: 24.2%
Majority: 143

By-election held following the resignation of Labour councillor Diana Ellis.
