We co-invest and collaborate with industry and government to develop and deploy new technologies. Our research and insight enables the Scottish, UK and other governments to achieve their net zero ambitions, deliver a decarbonised and net zero energy system,  maximise economic recovery and compete in international markets. We help industry solve their challenges through managed R&D projects to collaboratively accelerate new technology development and deployment.

To date we have co-invested £430 million in technologies which have the potential to generate £10-17 billion in gross value added (GVA) to the Scottish economy, screened over 3370+ technologies, completed or progressed 154 field trials, commercialised 59+ technologies supported 69 tech start-ups.

Our advisory solutions provide industry and investors with insights and foresight on current and emerging technologies. We help organisations leverage technology to navigate and accelerate their decarbonisation goals.

Our TechX startup accelerator programmes equip startups with the funding, tools, resources and training they need to evolve and grow, accelerating their path to commercialisation and beyond.
