Digital innovation and applying technologies to support complex projects in various challenging environments in the energy sector are being showcased at the Low Carbon Networks and Innovation (LCNI) conference and exhibition in Manchester from 6 to 7 December. SNC-Lavalin acquired WS Atkins plc on July 3, 2017.
Members of our digital engineering, and power and electrical networks teams will be on our Stand B02 to present a range of topics, including digital engineering, consultancy services, detailed design, asset management, and operational support, and a series of regional case studies.
They will be demonstrating how Atkins are innovatively applying digital scanning and immersive visualisation, such as Virtual Reality (VR), across the entire project lifecycle to enhance engineering design and delivery, and solve engineering problems. Digital scanning and immersive visualisation are part of Atkins’ digital engineering services. The deployment of these tools and techniques has enabled the delivery of innovative, efficient and cost-effective solutions throughout an entire project lifecycle.
The LCNI conference provides an opportunity to explore the key learnings from electricity and gas network innovation projects, through networking opportunities, project-specific presentations and workshops.
In our power business, we have been supporting clients around the world for decades across the full lifecycle of conventional generation and with the design and development of electrical networks, generation connection, smart and flexible networks.
