At BAE Systems we help governments fulfil their prime responsibility by protecting and serving those who serve and protect us. We do this by being performance driven and values led.
We are focused on making our business truly sustainable. We are committed to supporting the UK Government’s net zero programme, working closely with the Ministry of Defence in developing sustainable defence technologies, as well as setting a target of achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions across our operations by 2030.
In the following pages we have detailed some of our efforts on these topics. We believe that BAE Systems’ role in creating a sustainable business and all that it entails is of huge value to the UK. Our sustainability agenda is fundamental to our business performance and the focus we place on it supports our aim to make a continued positive contribution to the security and prosperity of our nation.
