Chartered Institute of Building consultation.

We are regularly invited to advise government departments, committees, political groups and stakeholders on a multitude of issues related to the construction sector and the wider built environment.

Consultations and written evidence to committees are a key component of the policy-making process. One of the main ways we engage with government and influence policy makers is by responding to these proposed legislative changes through a combination of drawing on our existing research alongside input from expert CIOB members and the wider public.

A full list of open consultations, as well as ones we have responded to, can be found at https://policy.ciob.org/consultations
