Remain groups team up to push for second Brexit vote

MPs from across the political divide are launching a fresh bid to give voters a say on the Government's final Brexit deal.
The People's Vote campaign will unite nine separate pro-EU groups - including Open Britain, European Movement UK, and Britain for Europe - as they push for a referendum on the shape of the Government's exit agreement with Brussels.
MPs including Labour's Chuka Umunna, Conservative Anna Soubry, Liberal Democrat Layla Moran and Green Party leader Caroline Lucas have all given their backing to the new group.
Both Labour and the Conservatives have ruled out holding a second referendum, but the People's Vote - which launches today with a rally in London - insisted leaving the EU should not be seen as a "done deal".
Moran said: "It may seem like the odds are stacked against us as a movement, but fighting for what you believe in is never easy.
"We are short on time, but we have people power on our side. Together, are on the verge of something extraordinary."
Open Britain chief James McGrory said Brexit was "not inevitable".
"What the Government comes back with, not what was promised in the referendum, will be the real deal. It should not be a done deal," he added.
