WATCH: Danny Dyer speaks for the nation on Brexit and slams 'that t**t' David Cameron

2 min read

In times of national emergency, a hero is required.

So Dot Commons was delighted - and more than a little relieved - to see Danny Dyer speak for the whole country by demanding to know what the hell is going on with Brexit.

While the Prime Minister made the case for greater security co-operation with the rest of the EU at a summit in Brussels, the cockney actor cut the c**p to declare that he, just like the rest of us, hasn't the first clue where we are and how we got here in the first place.

Appearing on ITV's Good Evening Britain alongside a rather random line-up including Jeremy Corbyn, Pamela Anderson, David Ginola, Ed Balls, Harry Redknapp and James Cleverly, Dyer was asked how he thought the whole Brexit thing was going.

Using language which would make vicars' daughter Theresa May blush, the Eastenders star said: "Who knows about Brexit? No one’s got a clue what Brexit is, yeah? You watch Question Time - it’s comedy. No one knows what it is, it’s like this mad riddle so no one knows what it is."

Then, taking aim at the former Prime Minister who called the EU referendum and, having lost it, left Downing Street and then frontline politics altogether, he added: "So what’s happened to that twat David Cameron? How can he scuttle off? He called all this on. Where is he? He’s in Europe - in Nice - with his trotters up. Where is the geezer? I think he should be held account for it. Twat."

Danny Dyer - Dot Commons salutes you.

David Cameron, as far as we know, was not available for comment.
