WATCH Donald Trump: Theresa May and I 'like each other a lot'

Donald Trump has hailed his personal relationship with Theresa May, saying the two leaders are "like each other a lot".
The pair met at the World Economic Forum in Davos, their first face-to-face talks since the US president cancelled a planned visit to London to open the new US embassy.
President Trump claimed the decision was a protest at the "bad deal" struck on the building by the Obama administration, but it is understood he was angry at criticism aimed at him by British politicians, including the Prime Minister.
In November, Mrs May said the president had been "wrong" to retweet posts from far-right group Britain First - prompting the maverick Republican to say the Prime Minister should concentrate on tackling terrorism in the UK.
However, President Trump today claimed that reports of their differences had been exaggerated, and insisted the pair "are on the same wavelength in every respect".
Appearing at a brief press conference this afternoon, Mr Trump stressed what he said was "great" personal relationship with Mrs May.
"It’s an honour to be with Prime Minister May, we’ve had a great discussion. We’re on the same wavelength in I think every respect," he said.
"The Prime Minister and myself have a really great relationship. Some people don’t necessarily believe that I can tell you it’s true, I have a tremendous respect for the Prime Minister and the job she’s doing and I think the feeling is mutual from the standpoint of liking each other a lot and that was a little bit of a false rumour out there, I just wanted to correct it, frankly.
"We have respect for everything you’re doing. We love your country, we think it’s really good."
TRADE RELATIONSHIP
The property tycoon also played up both the economic and military relationship with the UK, saying that work on increasing cooperation was already getting underway.
"We’re working on transactions in terms of economic development, trade, maybe most importantly military. We are very much joined at the hip when it comes to the military.
"We have the same ideas the same ideals and there’s nothing that would happen to you that we won’t be there to fight for you, you know that. I just want to thank you very much, it’s a great honour to be here.
"The trade is going to increase many times and we look forward to that...and we are starting that process pretty much as we speak."
