Thousands of jobs could be created with the building of the new ultra-reliable Full Fibre broadband network across the UK.

We’ve all seen how digital networks kept the UK going during these challenging times. Now, they offer us the fastest route back to prosperity – if Government unlocks investment.

We are already working to bring these benefits to 20 million homes and businesses. And with the right support we can unleash the power of Full Fibre even faster, benefiting more communities, especially in rural areas.

To achieve that, we need Government to extend the holiday on business rates for new Full Fibre networks.

So let’s take the brakes off, create the jobs and crack on with the Full Fibre build.

They need to improve access to blocks of flats so nobody gets left behind and let no new home be built without Full Fibre broadband.

The Government must deliver the £5 billion already committed to rural upgrades in a fast, straightforward and effective way, which enables the sector to get on with the job and provide more support for engineering apprentices in their first year of training, to cover salaries.

This project’s not just shovel ready. We’re already underway.

We’ve recruited and trained 9,000 engineers over the past few years and if the Government unlocks the investment, the sector could do it again.

So let’s take the brakes off, create the jobs and crack on with the Full Fibre build.
