CII welcomes Nicky Morgan's continuing commitment to gender equality charter

Chartered Insurance Institute

Chartered Insurance Institute responds to Nicky Morgan’s open letter encouraging 30 financial services firms to sign up to the Women in Finance Charter.

The Chartered Insurance Institute were proud to become one of the first signatories of the Women in Finance Charter and we are delighted to see the Chair of the Treasury Select Committee’s continuing commitment to this initiative.

We’re firm believers that as a united profession we can only build public trust and better understand and meet the needs of our customers by reflecting wider society in its diversity. The more remote the sector appears to the public, the harder this becomes. Ensuring that the contributions and potential of our female talent is fully recognised, valued, developed and rewarded is the first step to building a profession more representative of the public we serve.
