The Equality and Human Rights Commission has published briefings in contribution to International Women’s Day debates in the Houses of Parliament on 8 March 2018.

These briefings set out some of the important work the Commission is doing on a range of issues to advance gender equality, including in relation to:
- political participation;
- the gender pay gap;
- pregnancy and maternity discrimination;
- sexual harassment;
- welfare reform;
- asylum seekers and refugees; and,
- personal, social, health and economic education (PSHE).
