IPSE (the Association of Independent Professionals and the Self-Employed) has partnered with the IHPA (the Independent Health Professionals Association) to campaign for the interests of independent professionals and against the changes to IR35.

Through the partnership, IHPA members will also have access to a range of benefits including tax and legal advice, contract templates and a range of offers and discounts.

Corinne Stuart, Head of Commercial Development at IPSE, said: “At IPSE, we are delighted to be partnering with and supporting the IHPA. Independent health professionals are a vital part of not only the NHS, but also the entire self-employed community. Now, particularly with the disastrous changes to IR35 in the public sector, it is essential they have the support and legal assistance they need. We are proud to be providing it. We will also continue to work with the IHPA against the hugely damaging changes to IR35.”

Dr Iain Campbell, Secretary General of the Independent Health Professionals Association said: “IHPA are very excited to launch our partnership with IPSE and a new package of exciting member benefits.

“Already IHPA provide a strong voice for all independent health professionals and now there’s even more reason to join. There are many issues and challenges facing independent health professionals, and together our voice is stronger. We hope people all over the country will take advantage of these very attractive member benefits and join us to make the voice of independent health professionals even stronger”.
