Mott MacDonald has been appointed to the new public sector framework agreement for construction consultancy services by the National Procurement Service for Wales.

The consultancy will provide a range of services across all regions of Wales, including mechanical, structural and electrical engineering, quantity surveying, project management, ecology, landscape architecture, BREEAM assessments and all-in multi-disciplinary services incorporating architecture.

Welsh organisations such as the government and associated sponsored bodies, local authorities, health boards and trusts, higher and further education providers and the emergency services, as well as housing associations, registered social landlords and selected charities, will have access to Mott MacDonald’s diverse range of services through the framework.

Paul Maliphant, Mott MacDonald’s framework director, said: “Mott MacDonald has a long track-record of providing services to the Welsh public sector property market. The key to our successful service is delivering schemes with enhanced social outcomes by increasing community benefits and providing local employment opportunities to maximise value for money. We are looking to work closely with Welsh-based small and medium sized enterprises to help deliver future projects.”

The framework will run until the end of 2016, with options to extend by two 12-month periods to the end of 2018.
