Armed Forces' Pay Review Body – John Steele reappointed as Chair for two more months; Peter Maddison appointed as the next Chair.
Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
Christine Middlemiss started her role as Chief Veterinary Officer.
Home Office
Migration Advisory Committee - Jo Swaffield and Brian Bell appointed as members.
Cabinet Office
Constitution Group - Rowena Ironside and Barbara Moldenhauer appointed as Non-Executive Directors.
Foreign and Commonwealth Office
Dan Chugg has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Burma.
Irfan Siddiq has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Sudan.
Michael Aron has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Yemen in succession to Simon Shercliff.
Department for International Trade
Export Guarantees Advisory Council, UK Export Finance - Shalini Khemka appointed to the Board; John Morrison and Roseline Wanjiru appointed to the council.
Department for Transport
British Transport Police Authority – Ron Barclay-Smith appointed as Chair.
Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport
Claire Dove to replace Michael O’Toole as Crown Representative for Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise.

UK Independence Party
Mike Hookem named as Deputy Leader, Tony McIntyre as Chair and Margot Parker as Deputy Chair.
Local Authorities:
Shetland Islands Council – Maggie Sandison named as the new Chief Executive, replacing Mark Boden.
Worcestershire Council – Chief Executive Steve Stewart died, he had been in the role on an interim basis.
By-election Results 1st March
Clackmannanshire Council – Helen Lewis elected for Clackmannanshire North – SNP hold. (Archie Drummond resigned).
Solihull Council – James Butler elected for Blythe – Conservative hold. (Alex Insley resigned).
Basingstoke and Deane Council – Tony Capon elected for Kempshott – Conservative hold. (Rita Burgess died).
East Devon Council – Tim Dumper elected for Exmouth Town – Liberal Democrat hold. (Pat Graham).

Aldi – Giles Hurley to replace Matthew Barnes as UK Chief Executive on 1st May.
