Lord Foster of Bishop Auckland (Labour, life peer) died on 6th January.
Baroness Howells of St Davids (Labour, life peer) retired on 10th January.

Office of Tax Simplification – Bill Dodwell to replace Paul Morton as Tax Director.
Office of the Secretary of State for Scotland
Boundary Commission for Scotland – Paula Sharp reappointed as a member.
Department of Health and Social Care
Nicola Blackwood named as the new Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Health.
Care Quality Commission - Rosie Benneyworth named as the new Chief Inspector of Primary Medical Services and Integrated Care, replacing Steve Field in early March.
Foreign and Commonwealth Office
Martin Shearman has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium during Summer 2019.
Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport
S4C - Hugh Hesketh Evans reappointed as a board member.
Natural History Museum – Stephen Sparks reappointed to the board.
Gambling Commission – Trevor Pearce reappointed to the board.
National Museums Liverpool – Carmel Booth and Nicola Thorp had their terms as Trustees.
Royal Museums Greenwich – Alastair March appointed as Audit and Risk Trustee.
Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy
Civil Nuclear Police Authority - Simon Chesterman to replace Mike Griffiths as Chief Constable in April.
Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government
Leasehold Advisory Service – Wanda Goldwag appointed as interim Chair.
Department for Work and Pensions
BPDTS Ltd – Jeremy Moore appointed as the new Chair; Valerie Gordon-Walker appointed as a Non-Executive Director.

National Assembly for Wales
Jenny Rathbone readmitted to the Assembly Labour Party.
Scottish Government
Scottish Security Commission – Sally Witcher appointed as Chair of the new body.
Local Authorities:
Camden Council – Jenny Rowlands to replace Mike Cooke as Chief Executive in March.

East Sussex County Council – Deirdre Earl-Williams elected for Bexhill West – Independent hold. (Stuart Earl died).
Rother Council – Kathy Harmer elected for St Marks – Independent hold. (Stuart Earl died).
