UK Advertising export group launches new business tool
UK Advertising, Made Global’s site to feature new search tool for international customers seeking UK companies.
London, March 3, 2022: The UK Advertising, Made Global website, online home for the UK Advertising Export Group (UKAEG) has launched a new search and selection tool for UK advertising and marketing companies seeking new business around the world, to mark the start of Export Month. The site – populated with case studies of the services, skills and expertise offered by UKAEG members – is also giving companies wishing to be part of the showcase the opportunity to register today.
The tool, which will be free-to-use for international buyers, has been launched with the support of UKAEG’s partner, the Department of International Trade (DIT), designed with the aim of making it easier to promote UK advertising and marketing services to customers around the world.
Specific benefits of the site include: a company directory, a specific search by sector feature and an ‘explore the globe’ visual display of case studies showing projects from regions across the world. It also offers users the ability to add companies to a personal shortlist and provides contact details for each business featured.
UKAEG already counts over 10,000 individuals on its database from all around the world. The site’s refresh incorporates an existing tool, the Export Accelerator, launched last year to help companies strengthen their exports strategy by providing information on key markets around the world, featuring tips covering funding incentives to filming permits.
The tool has been launched as UKAEG marks Export Month in March with a programme of trade missions to promote the value of advertising exports on the world stage. Landmark events include an in-person trip to the USA at SXSW on March 12 and an exclusive Export Report discussion at the Carlton Club on March 29 with Digital Tories Parliamentary Patrons.
Janet Hull, Chair of UKAEG, Member Creative Industries Council, and IPA Director of Marketing Strategy said: “The UK Advertising Export Group brings great value to its members and to the UK advertising’s potential on the world stage. £21m worth of new business was generated from UKAEG trade missions last year and our unique new business tool will accelerate these marketing opportunities even further.”
For non-UKAEG members, companies can now register to be featured on the site subject to a flat fee, by contacting Aisling.Conlon@adassoc.org.uk.
Free registration for all events in the Export Month programme is open via https://adassoc.org.uk/events/
