Boost for Jeremy Corbyn as Labour take poll lead over Conservatives

Labour has taken its biggest lead over the Conservatives in three months, according to a new poll.
In a major boost for Jeremy Corbyn, the BMG survey puts his party on 41%, up two points on a month ago.
The Conservatives have slipped one point to 38%, with the Lib Dems on 11%, Ukip on 4% and the Greens on 2%.
It is the first time since April that any opinion poll has put Labour ahead.
The last poll to put Labour more than three points in front was a Survation survey in March for Good Morning Britain, which gave the party a seven point advantage over their rivals.
Earlier this month, a YouGov poll put the Conservatives seven points ahead and suggested that working class voters were abandoning Labour.
It said that 48% of so-called C2DE voters support the Conservatives, up from 35% in January.
By contrast, support for Labour among that social group has plummeted from 46% in January to 37% now.
