Boris Johnson burqa row: Let he who is without sin cast the first Livingstone

1 min read

You know you’re in trouble when Ken Livingstone says you should be thrown out of a political party for being offensive.

The former Mayor of London knows all too well how an ill-conceived outburst about a religious group can lead to a public pile on – with his sporadic bleating about Hitler and Zionism culminating in his departure from the Labour party.

In a refreshing turn of events for Ken it's now his old adversary Boris Johnson in the firing line over unkind comments about women wearing burqas resembling letterboxes and bank robbers.

What a pair of charmers…

And with absolutely no sense of irony, Livingstone has launched an attack on Boris, saying he should be chucked out of the Conservatives.

Speaking on LBC, he said: “He isn’t really a politician, he just wants to be a famous celebrity.

“Frankly, I think the Tory Party should dump him.”

Maybe he’s just looking to start a support group for disgraced ex-mayors.
