Theresa May being Prime Minister ‘like a Muslim working in a pig abattoir’, says Tory peer

Theresa May taking on the role of Prime Minister was like a Muslim taking a job in a pig slaughter house, the former Conservative party chair has said.
Baroness Warsi said she thought while Mrs May has an “eye for detail”, she seemed “deeply unhappy” as head of the Government.
The Sun reported the peer told an audience at comedian Matt Forde’s Political Party show last night that “the Prime Minister’s job goes against everything in her personality”.
“It is the equivalent of me, a Muslim who eats halal, getting a job in a pig abattoir,” she quipped.
“If you really don’t like something, you just don’t kind of go for that job do you?”
Baroness Warsi, who worked alongside Mrs May in David Cameron’s government, added: “I do think she’s probably deeply unhappy, and life’s too short for any of us to be in jobs that make us deeply unhappy.”
She said the election campaign in which the Tories suffered a humiliating loss of their majority had been “terrible” and that Mrs May had been “too presidential” despite not having the personality needed.
