WATCH: Westminster left reeling as Tory Michael Fabricant gets naked

After a tumultous few years in Westminster, we at PoliticsHome like to think we're ready for anything.
But some stories still have the power to stun. Enter a fully nude Michael Fabricant. On a bike. While we're still finishing our lunch.
The Tory MP - perhaps best known for his "enhanced" blond mop and stint on Channel 4 reality hit First Dates - has finally bowed to intense public pressure and taken his kit off.
It's not just for the fun of it, mind. Fabricant wants to raise money for the St Giles hospice in his Lichfield constuency - so he's bringing all the glamour of the World Naked Bike Ride to his own turf.
The MP said: "We want to do this in support of a charity very close to my heart and to the hearts of my constituents. Nothing is more likely to make me stand proud than the sight of hundreds of Lichfeldians cycling naked down Beacon Street."
St Giles chief Emma Hodges meanwhile acknowledged that the nude bonanza - which is open to anyone else who fancies baring all - was "definitely one of the more unusual events" aimed at helping the hospice out.
Apparently two Cabinet ministers have already put their hands in their pockets (stop it) to help the upstanding member out...
