Lord Bates stood down as Minister of State in the Department for International Development and as Lords Spokesperson for HM Treasury.
Baroness Sugg appointed as Minister of State for Department for International Development.
Lord Young of Cookham appointed as Lords Spokesperson for HM Treasury.
Baroness Vere of Norbiton appointed as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Department for Transport.
Alister Jack appointed as Government Whip.
Matt Warman appointed as Assistant Government Whip.
Department for International Trade
Henry Pearson named as the UK’s new Cyber Security Ambassador.
Foreign and Commonwealth Office
Nick Whittingham has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Guatemala and Her Majesty’s Non-Resident Ambassador to the Republic of Honduras.
Anne Macro has been appointed British High Commissioner to the Kingdom of Lesotho.
Department for Education
Dominic Herrington confirmed as National Schools Commissioner, having been in the role on an interim basis.
Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy
Financial Reporting Council - Richard Lawrence appointed to the Audit and Assurance Council.
Intellectual Property Office - David Holdsworth appointed as Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Operations.
